I did have a bit of an age crisis yesterday, but I guess I'll get used to this in a bit. Though I suspect that writing down a figure starting with a 4 instead of 3 will still jolt me for a quite a while :P. Hana Yori Dango (1995)
Bwahahahah, I really really should have watched the 1995 Hanadan movie sooner, it was such a fun experience :).
All the people I recognize are so young in it! And Tanihara Shosuke with that greasy hair and shirtless vest looks nothing like that restrained and quiet doctor from Love Shuffle or the announcer from Ousama no Brunch XD... Heee!!!! Not ( Read more... ) -
Random fandom commentary
- I've been listening to the songs on Yamapi's solo singles some times now. My first impression was that apart from "Loveless" no songs really stood out in my mind. They were okay, but nothing that special. Now with some more listenings, I've grown rather fond of "Dance Jam", "ME" and "Moonlight" in addition to the title song ( Read more... )

Samurai High School #1
This was pretty amusing. The story is fairly forgettable, but I liked it anyway.
If anything, it was worth watching for the overaged and oversized Shirota Yuu playing a very meek and bullied teenager in it XD. And now I feel like a completely dirty old lady for finding Miura Haruma's samurai act hot.

IRIS, episode 1

Finncon/Animecon 2009
Finncon is now over for this year and what a great con it was. Estimated 15.000 people attended the con during it's three days. The venue was great and the weather stayed mostly clear, so the cosplayers could gather outside ( Read more... ) -
TFPII
In an effort to clear some of my neverending watch list of doom, I've been ODing on old Tokyo Friends Park II shows with some drama teams today. I got back to town yesterday evening, but didn't really have the energy to watch anything, so I saved the latest two episodes of Black & White for today.
