Distractions

I felt like this today. So I made scones, and then I went for a walk. I ended up feeling like this though, so I came home again.

A Lego Batman movie. It's very cute.

Tom seems to be doing well. I wonder if everyone getting powers suddenly flails like he did?

I found out that carob is too evil for the Devil. This is both funny and disturbing

*He grins.* Oh man, how did you find that last picture? Maybe I need to illustrate my definitions too.

"I spend a lot of time looking for new art, for obvious reasons, and I have friends who point me towards it too." She grins, pulling him into a hug. "I'd love to see yours illustrated too.

"Would you like to start coming to class with me? There's room in my class for more students."

*He smiles and hugs her in return.* I don't think it would end up looking as amusing as that picture, but I'll see what I can do.

I'd like that, actually. I've always picked up physical things fairly quickly. And I'd have the most beautiful dance partner in the room.

There is a quiet presence, and a breath that smells like feathers, and the impression of a kiss upon her cheek.

There is a whisper of something indistinct, more a feeling than a word, more than words,

but it might just be

The definitions of the phrase are more subtly complex than merely those three words, but it is there, they are there, he is there for a fleeting moment.

She savors the moment while it lasts, and when he's gone she tries to make sense of it all. What else is there for her to do after he's visited?

As she wonders, she may feel a curious weight upon her feet. There, suddenly, lies something gold, something shaped a little like a goat, a little like a dog, little larger than a cat, mouthless, almost featureless but for its huge eyes and a jewel between them. Its body gleams golden. It sits there and noses at its paws like a crooming cat with no tongue.

It will go where she bids it, even if she bids it leave. But it is harmless.

A gift.

She blinks, then smiles and leans down to pet the top of its head. "Hello there. Did Sheo send you?"

"I would like." Ah, leave it to Eamonn to be able to find whatever she wants. He's so clever like that.

When what she wants is at his disposal, he does so like to provide. He gives her a small bow and holds out a hand, smiling.
