Yeah, so I am not one to post poetry, certainly nothing I would ever write.  That's only a measure to be employed when my heart is near to bursting with something or other, not something I'd share with others.  But some people are much more gifted in the arena than I, but not remotely as many as think they are.  I hate the poetry of most famous

I can write stories. I'm comfortable with that. I'm confident in my interestingness and ability to evoke empathy. Poetry is an entirely different creature, trying to convert words into pure emotion to be drank with the eyes or ears. That's hard, damn hard. And I am not adept.

That is a very poetic way of describing poetry. You should post your stories anyway. it would be fun. BTW, I have not read such kick-ass english-language poem in long time. Thanks for posting it.

I wonder how many people on LJ don't post their poetry because they don't consider themselves to be poets. I have two poems that I think are pretty good, but I wouldn't post them because...well...who wants to read unpublished poets? (99.9 percent of the time, I'm uninterested)
