It's so simply put, exactly how Veronica would have thought about it.
A clean, precise, almost clinical detachment to the scene itself, even though it's written in her point of view.
I really loved this line, it just really got under my skin for some reason
"In the end, like a song, it wouldn’t have mattered if he had."
