Your farm seems to be okay so far, though, right? It's a very twitchy time for everyone who has any ties to Southern California. Hopefully things will turn out okay for eveyone, though. *comforting hug?*
Yeah, I don't think it's really in terrible danger or anything... plus, it's right next to a river. :/ So that should provide some sort of barrier to the south. There are lakes pretty close by to the side of it, so I mean... all in all, it's a good place. As long as there's water running in it, which I assume there is. :/ Plus, farm. Pretty damp.
I'm just being paranoid since houses burning down is a phobia of mine. x.x; Along with getting robbed, and you know, one of them happened last week, wouldn't be surprised if another happened this week. :/
Okay. ^_^ Apparently it's very useful if there are bodies of water nearby for firefighting purposes, besides the obvious barrier, helicopters can pick up the water from nearby to dump elsewhere. ^_^ I kinda knew about this method earlier, but it was explained to me in more detail recently, so it's still on the brain. ^^;
Yeah, I know. So it's not a terribly big deal. Of more worry, as I just realized like, half an hour ago, it's more likely that my Aunt will get jealous of all the attention the people whose houses do burn down are getting and will burn down the house. :/ But since she keeps filling the place with her junk to the point of making rooms uninhabitable, I'm hoping she'll see logic and realize burning down a house is not nearly so profitable as poisoning one's pets. ~_~;
