I don't know if I have a "canon in my head." I write so many pairings, I have "canon" for different ones, but none that trump them all.
I'm glad you liked it!

Bit that made me crack up the most:
"Didn't your mother ever tell you you can't sing?"
Seamus grinned unabashedly at her. "Yeah, but she's me mum, and I figured she was just being mean."
xD There's so much background into Seamus with that one line. And explains how he tolerates Pansy's verbal abuse. (His mother is now the mom from Boondock Saints to me. Forever.)
Now, I'm going to prep for the apocalypse since you wrote something not soul-wrenchingly sad. ;)

Seamus is a saint, I think, for putting up with Pansy's bitching. He tolerates it with a grin, and he's the type to blow raspberries on her neck just to get a reaction out of her.
Yeah yeah yeah, grab your holy water and crucifix; it's gonna be a doozy.

In my head, Seamus and Pansy have the type of relationship where he'll do things (blow raspberries on her neck, sing in the shower, etc.) just to see what kind of reaction he can get from her. He isn't scared of being hexed or yelled at or hit because in the end, he knows that he loves her and she loves him-- despite it all-- and that's all that matters.
I had fun writing this. I was listening to "Let It Snow" at work, and Pansy just started making snarky comments after each verse. Ergo, this was born.

I should have been clearer, said it was "one-sided sweetness." Pansy wasn't very sweet. She was a bitch.
But then again, that's why I love her.
I'm glad you liked it! I like writing their relationship. I've drabbled them a few times and enjoyed it each time. Seamus loves to push her buttons, and Pansy tolerates it because she loves him.
Thanks for reading, hun! *SMOOSH*

And Pans was sweet for HER. I mean, it's really a sliding scale.
They were totally cute together. :D
