He really writes fantastic lyrics, indeed. I love the way he balances between very emotional pieces (like the one here or the one you mention) and highly sexual texts like in "Skin Vision" which is absolutely brilliant too :)
That reminded me the first time I saw mr Corner live on stage, ages ago in Warsaw. He was still with Sneaker Pimps, playing as a support for Placebo. Back than I didn't know much about them beside a song from "The Saint" *blush* He was on stage with a bottle of red wine, quite decadent hehe. By the end of the gig I was totally in love with Sneaker Pimps and Corner and he was totally drunk after drinking the whole bottle of wine ;))
