I already understand most of the benefits of being vegetarian. But being vegan, when it comes to food choices, is something I can't do at this moment in time for various reasons. I respect people that can eat the way they do daily, and whenever I'm with vegan friends, I'm always open to try new dishes and styles of life. I'm not anti-anything really, as long as no one is gungho radical to the point of belittling the other. But I found some seemingly ignorant or biased people on both side of the fence and found it interesting that those few didn't take the time of day to see the other's viewpoint. So there are a lot of ideals I disagree with when it comes to some meat eater's ignorance on animal welfare and vise versa. I do like to try and understand where both sides are coming from though and that is why I joined.
