Sundaes

So it's my birthday next week and I really want to make sundaes with my friends. I will be buying the "ice cream", but I don't really know what to put on top besides the whipped stuff and syrup. Does anyone have any original ideas?

What kind of ice cream? Vanilla? Or other flavors too? That's so interesting!

when we do ice cream sundae bars here, we do waffle bowls, different kinds of ice cream, peanut praline sprinkles, rainbow sprinkles, magic shell chocolate topping (comes in regular chocolate and there are other flavors that might be vegan - i think the peanut butter chocolate one is), and marachino cherries. smashed up oreo-type cookies are also really good, as well as frozen and then smashed peanut chews or other candy bars.

Woah- Where can you find vegan marachino cherries?!? I've been looking for them for ages and all the ones in the stores up here have carmine coloring

Just at the grocery store. I've never seen them with carmine coloring before! All the ones I've had use Red 4/Red 40 (i forget which one it is).

I bought some syrup a while back that was vegan :) We got strawberry & chocolate flavours, just from the supermarket.

Hershey's chocolate is vegan.

I like to drizzle jams and perserves that I've heated in the microwave over my sundaes. Pineapple is my favorite!
