& Good luck selling your camera! From shopping around, it seems like you can get more for it on eBay than CL.

Thanks! The 50 1.8 is a great alternative that will save you $200. You really don't lose that much in terms of DoF, though there's a huge difference between full-frame and DX.

I agree- I much prefer ebay to CL. In fact, I try to avoid CL. Hoping for around $600.

Yeah, about that price. Last I looked you could pick a used one up on ebay for a little cheaper. Haven't used lensrentals but the concept is not uncommon. There are a few local places that let you rent equipment like Dallas Camera http://www.dallascamera.com/
