[the curse'd been long, by his standards - too long. long enough that everything had melded itself together like a blur. he couldn't remember too much of what'd happened, just that he'd been a witch for a week, and he'd probably done something he'd regret.

the steps down into the lab were steep, but he didn't mind them. he preferred them that way. he could focus on them and clear his mind for whatever experiments he had planned for the day.
the lab is a wreck, but he expected that. every time he goes off the deep end, it seems something gets fucked up. but, as he began to go around cleaning everything and tidying what'd not been broken, he realized there was a new addition to his lab: a cage. and it was inhabited.
