[What should have been a peaceful stroll (which is a patrol in actuality) comes to an abrupt close the moment a bubble makes contact with the edge of Hubert's glasses and pops.

Scowling, he wipes the small remainder of the liquid from one lens with a finger.]

. . . Bubbles?

[He looks ahead. A sea of bubbles. It's like a marching army. Judging from the wands scattered about the area, it must be harmless indulgence.

Perhaps he should turn back -- ]

[Yeah, Hubert really should turn back...

... because a wand and concoction may or may not be making contact with his head from up above soon-]

[He does turn around. By some freakish luck, that allows him to dodge the wand and concoction as they fall onto the ground with a sharp thud.

Hubert whips around again, and stares at the items in disbelief before looking up. Is this the fault of who he thinks it is -- ]

[He doesn't wave back. That enthusiasm, he isn't feeling any of it.]
