[had noticed the lights and knowing full well who would be doing such thing, manages to find her and just leaning against a nearby tree, a small smile on his face]

Looks like you got your wish.

[ she smiles as she turns around, visibly gleaming from happiness. today is a very big day, after all! ]

Wouldn't miss it. But how did you find these? [picks one up, examining it]

The presents under the Christmas tree! [ she pauses, recollecting it. ]

They had this huge tree in the plaza. And underneath it - presents! There were so many, Eugene, all different colors and sizes. I'm sure there was one for every person in Vatheon.

[ then she looks over to him. ] Did you check if you got one?

[Jack wanders into the park, obviously drawn in by the amazing amount of lights. He reached up, trying to touch them.]

This is amazing. [He whispered to himself.]

[ Ah - a familiar voice! Rapunzel turns to meet him, pleased with how happy he seemed with them. They make her just as happy. ]

You know, you can send one off too, if you want! There's still plenty left.

I'm going to go see this movie, Monday. /snowed in right now

[He grins, touching one. He's certainly content here.]

I'd love to, are they like little wishes?

Actually they're more like... messages, kind of.

[ She smiles as she lights one lantern, then hands it off to Jack. ]

People used to send thousands of them one day a year, in hopes that their lost princess would see them and return home. [ Laughs. ] It was always so beautiful.

[reveringly]

[She's just walking around, staring at the lanterns in awe as her feet carry her to the park.]

They're so pretty...!

[ And there's Rapunzel, sending off one more lantern. She turns and sees Sakuya, before she grins and runs toward her, fresh lantern in her hand. ]

It's even better if you follow your own lantern!

[reveringly]

Oh! Can I?

Of course!

[ Rapunzel lights it at the bottom, then hands it off. ]

[this is the first time Red's seen anything like this. they're... lovelier than fireworks, and he could just stand still like this all night. he looked up as the lanterns flew about. he didn't notice that he was walking gently as he did, eventually stopping by the source - where there is a girl.]

[ Rapunzel is easily mesmerized by the lights, so it take a few moments for her to notice Red. When she does, she just looks at him and smiles, before picking up a fresh lantern and approaching him. ]

Would you like to send one of your own? It's as fun as it looks!

[pristinestar]

[he smiled quietly at her, but had a curious hint in his eyes.]

... Really? Is that okay with you?

Of course! It would get pretty boring if I lit them all myself!

[ So she lights the lantern, then hands it off to Red, watching him happily. ]

[Crowley stands off to the side, his shades being lit ablaze with the reflection of the lanterns.]

[They're very beautiful, he has to admit. So he stands and stares, a smile on his face.]

[ It's a little bit of her home, that she's giving to everyone, so she's making an effort to approach everyone.

Which is why she walks over to greet Crowley! Lantern in hand, she innocently holds it out for him. ]

You can join in too! [ She smiles. ] There's plenty left!

[He looks genuinely surprised that she's including him as well, and has to give an amused grin at her happiness.]

Me? Really?...How do you make one of these things, anyways?

Well, I got these for Christmas, but... [ She moves in closer, so she can point out the parts. ]

This part - [ She points to the surrounding area, which made the color, before turning it upside down. ] - is just colored paper. And then on the inside, there's this 'skeleton', so that it keeps its shape!

Then right here - [ She points to the center of the skeleton; there's a circular shape, made out of the wick of a candle making stuff up like a pro. :D ] - is where you light it!
