It came to my attention early in my arrival here that the City has a great lack of performances. No plays, no concerts, nothing. This complete lack of culture is quite disturbing really. And that was when the Doctor came up with a brilliant idea.

He has read my books and believes that I should hold a concert here

We were practicing for a ballet. Swan Lake. How ironic. But the performance has been canceled.

Swan Lake can't be danced if one of the leads is an actual swan during the performance. We're very realistic but honestly...

So many people in this city are... too uptight. They need to let a little rythm into their lives.

I fully agree. Loosening them up with dance would be a worthwhile experience.

Ah, a little. My boyfriend is the real musician. I merely play backup guitar for him, heh. What kind of music do you perform, sir?

Is your boyfriend here, my dear? I play whatever I wish to. I have found I love music in general and have a gift for any instrument. Though, my heart is very fond of the violin.

By the way, I've been meaning to tell you - I think we should have a chat over tea soon. We have lots to talk about.

And that's what I've been wanting to tell you: I read the books. Two of them, at least.

And I can certainly do a few of my songs. However, that would require putting a band together.
