I'm beginning to enjoy the pool more than I thought I would. Spent much of Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon just floating in the water and relaxing. I think I'm even losing a bit of weight for the low impact aerobic exercise I get just by keeping afloat. I like taking a couple noodles and using them for support. Memorial Day weekend was cool - in the mid-70s. The water in the pool was even cooler - in the mid-60s.  While hosting the bears for the party was fun, I was hoping it would have been a bit warmer with less chance of rain (fortunately, it didn't rain, though it looked like it might for a while). We had a great weekend in the Loo. Unbelievably good weather and almost set a record yesterday. Which means today we'll be hammered with rain and snow and ice, but them's the breaks. Probably the most impressive thing I've done is rewire the house my first partner and I bought back in 1989. The home dated from the 1920's and still had the old knob-and-tube wiring. I've been taking a bunch of antibiotics and steroids for chronic sinusitis, from which I've been suffering for decades. The nasty side effects is that it's tearing my insides apart right now (and makes me a little less fun to be around).
