Having read it (cynicism aside) that was quite depressing.
I suspect considerably more down than it needs to be (but I am neither foody-person or excercisey-person, and I am pretty much convinced that people who work in gyms can't manage basic maths and so I come at it from that angle) but I have faith that it isn't that bad and nothing is irreversible.
(And tests like that are bullshit in the sense that with a very little bit of training you will do a billion times better. Because no one gets on the freeway alone as soon as they get their L plates).
It really was that depressing, though - I'm not exaggerating for comic effect. It genuinely was very hard and very distressing at the time. However, you'll note that's only Part 1 of the post - Part 2 is, well, not exactly gleeful, but still less teary and overwrought.

I don't doubt that. I just doubt the reasons for it. I just wonder .... but I start from a position that anyone working in the "fitness" industry is, well, worse than anyone in marketing.
Which says a lot for where I rank fitness folk overall. I await part 2 with interest.
