Years ago, Body Shop used to do stuff called 'lip ink', which was basically a felt-tip pen for lips. It was brilliant - easy to put on, didn't transfer onto clothing or other people, and gave great depth of colour that lasted for ages. Also great for that deliciously wanton 'lipstick? me? I've just been eating blackberries' stained look.

Maybelline have a similar one, but again they're not safe either... Mind you, Stargazer do 'tattoo pens' - I might have a go with them on my lips and see what happens. :-)
