He's going to notice that his little sister is doing the same thing... in the common room.

She's in sight, and not daring come closer.

Why? Because her eyes are red. Bright red. She just cried her eyes out, and not for someone the head of the House of Fingolfin likes at all.

We can easily assume that Galadriel and Irisse have also been taking turns with Maitimo.
