I think Lost's characters definitely lend themselves well to any sort of dystopian future set-up, and I love Children of Men, so when I saw both requests it kind of fit into place!

The second part is pretty much completely written -- basically just finessing it -- and the third and fourth are already plotted and started, so I'm hoping it won't stretch out more than a couple weeks.

You always leave the best feedback. ;D Like I said to someone else, when I saw the characters it just kind of occurred to me that Claire and Juliet would fit perfectly in the Children of Men world. And of course I couldn't leave Daniel and Charlotte out of it -- and there's more about them in the next next part for sure. ;P

And a second yay, because Charlotte is my absolute favourite character to write -- clearly Daniel is my fictional soulmate, but there's something about writing her that just flows when others don't, so I super appreciate you saying that! *hugs* And I don't know if I can even consider Dan as a character -- as a writer -- without Charlotte, now, for good or for ill, lol.

And a third (!!!), because I felt a little uncertain throwing our favourite nerdy scientist into a situation where he'd kind of have to be right in the action, and I wanted this fic to mostly be 'on the move', so I'm really pleased that worked for you!
