The condo is feeling a bit weird... we finally have (most of) the interior renovation work done, but now comcast is coming through to update the wiring in the building. That means we had to move a bunch of stuff away from the wall space where they plan to run the new wires. So, now my dining room contains the porch furniture, and the living room ( Read more... )

Last night I was craving peppermint ice cream, so I made a quick stop at a grocery store. The lady in front of me at the check out was apparently having cash issues and had to "put back" two items to get her total down to what she could afford. I went out to happy hour at Grumpy's with some co-workers last week, and my portion of the check came to ~$12, which I put on my check card (plus $3 for tip). I noticed this week that the charge went through for $18. ( Um... excuse me? )
