i fully understand what you mean cheeks. i don't think you let the 2nd part die, you just have to let it grow/change over time [which, by the way, i think you're doing anyway]. life teaches you that it's hard to put faith in people, but you should never try to erase them from your memory. every single person you come in contact w/shapes the person you are in some way, no matter how small, so, theoretically, by pushing them out you lose a little piece of yourself. well, that's all i got.
