My meta all over my Tumblr last night for Elena. Like all of her worst fears played out by her subconscious in the form of Katherine. I loved it. And then at the end she realized that no, that girl might have died in the water but I'm still here. And I don't want to die. I can be something more and better and great.
(my only thing was lol @ stefan being the one to do the breakup. i knew the show would pull that shit)

I actually liked the S/E breakup? Because it wasn't exactly Stefan breaking up with her, it was both of them reaching the same conclusion at the same time.

YES YOU DO! Btw, I wrote the December Meme fic for you yesterday, and it went a bit out of control in terms of characters... Do you mind if the story is actually heavily centered around Katherine? Because if you do, I'm just going to post this ficlet now, and write you a purely D/E story instead :).
IDK, I felt that the breakup could have been framed better. Like it was completely in character for Stefan to deflect and be a martyr and selfish like that. But it was annoying a bit.

I'm still processing this episode and all the feelings. Elena feelings, and D/E feelings, and also Jeremy feelings and Bonnie feelings in the background. IT WILL TAKE ME DAYS TO SORT OUT.
