Hai everyone! Cee-Cee here :D sorryyyyyyy for the slight delay- this oneshot took me a while, because i was constantly being dissatisfied with how it was turning out. so yeah sorry if it kind of sucks T.T and then schools starting soon so once the homework & tests/projects start to pile up, i won't have much time to post =/
UPDATES: i have a feeling that the next three (there are five total in my Shipper Paradise oneshot series) should take less time to write- or at least i'll try to write at least one more oneshot before school starts. I'm not sure how much free time i'll have to write/post, but definitely expect my series that i'm planning to be posted up sometime in the fall!
so after much delay...:
Hyo-Hyo and her Dumb-Butt Monkey (Hyohyuk)- Smut (with a hint of passion)
It was unusually cold that night and Hyoyeon wrapped the blankets closer to her body. She was alone in the room she shared with Seohyun, as the adorable maknae of SNSD was elsewhere that night, probably spending it with her Starcraft-obsessed boyfriend. It was only fifteen minutes after midnight, but she couldn’t help but think: “He’s late…”
Just when Hyoyeon thought that he was busy and couldn’t come, her door creaked open ever so softly and he stepped into the room gingerly, trying to make as little noise as possible. Amused, Hyoyeon waited until he made his way over to her bed and sat up and said, “You’re late.”
Hyukjae only grinned and said fluidly, “I was busy. Donghae and I had to practice a damn complicated dance routine. Took forever.” He cocked his head and gazed at her. “Don’t tell me you were worried about me, Hyo-Hyo?” he said in a low voice, grinning now from ear to ear as he addressed her by his pet name for her. Hyoyeon scowled slightly at him, but he knew all too well that she was suppressing a smile. “Dumb-butt monkey,” she muttered her pet name for him.
As soon as she said that, Hyukjae could contain his needs no longer and his lips crashed with hers. It was a while before they surfaced for air, her fists taut in his hair and him nearly atop her. Her needs as strong as his, she pulled him down onto her, their hips starting to grind together in fluid rhythm. As clothes were slowly discarded and moans and muffled sounds of pleasure slipped out here and there, Hyoyeon was suddenly reminiscent of when this whole thing started:
They had known of each other since they were trainees, but she first gets formally introduced to him after SNSD’s debut and they were just starting to garner popularity. If you only looked at him casually, you wouldn’t think much of Lee Hyukjae. With a beaky nose and awkward (but weirdly charming) smile, her first impression of him is that of a monkey.
He sure had the energy and attention span of one anyway. When Siwon-oppa had first introduced them, he gives her a huge grin and says, “So you’re the dancing queen I’ve heard so much about?” He asks her to show him what she got, and shyly, she follows him into one of the training rooms. Two hours later, they’ve both awed each other with their dancing skills and given each other tips, and are sitting on the floor laughing hysterically at Hyukjae’s jokes. He’s already come up with her nickname “Hyo-Hyo” and she’s smacked him and called him a “dumb-butt monkey.”
Months go by and both Super Junior and SNSD are in the midst of becoming Korea’s superstars. He greets her every time he sees her, practically screaming, “HYO-HYO!!!” across the hall of the training building. And every time, Hyoyeon turns bright red and hisses between clenched teeth, “Don’t scream that out so loud, stupid dumb-butt monkey.”
Then, SNSD comes out with their legendary hit “Gee” and suddenly their schedules become packed with interviews, performances and promotions. During that time, Hyoyeon hardly ever sees Hyukjae- after all, he’s busy too what with Super Junior preparing their third album comeback with their soon to be super smash success hit “Sorry, Sorry”.
One rare evening when SNSD has a break and most of the other girls are out with activities of their own, Hyoyeon finds the nearest empty training room and walks in, discovering that it’s not as empty as she thought it had been. Hyukjae is sprawled on his back on the floor and he seems to be dead tired. Amused, Hyoyeon joins him on the floor while he mutters a tired, “Hey.”
Hyoyeon remarks, “You look like a dead monkey, you know?” He chuckles weakly and says, “Sure.” They stay like that for a while, him on the ground and her sitting there with him, in companionable silence. She doesn’t notice, though, how he’s intently staring at her the whole time.
Suddenly, out of the blue, Hyukjae sits up and says, “Hey, Hyoyeon…you ever kissed anyone before?” A bit taken off guard, Hyoyeon sits up a bit straighter and stares at him incredulously. “What?” “You heard me,” he says, keeping his gaze on her. Hyoyeon is in something of a shock- she’s never seen Hyukjae this serious before and doesn’t know where this came from- and only a slight hint of where this was going.
“W-Well…yes…but…it was a long time ago…a-and…it didn’t really count…” she was stuttering now, her face flushing bright pink, both from the memory and from Hyukjae’s still intense stare. “Would this count then?” she barely hears him mutter before he leans over (damn, he’s quick) and plants his lips on hers.
It was as if, in unison, all their needs, their wants, their desires clashed together and it sends them both reeling in their minds from the explosion. When they finally resurface, Hyukjae only grabs onto her and she lets herself fall into him. “As much as I’d like to finish it here,” she feels him whisper in her ear as he nuzzles her neck, his warm breath tickling her ear. “I don’t think other people would be too appreciative to find us waxing the floor here.”
Hyoyeon’s eyes widen, but she only needs to glance at Hyukjae to realize she was thinking (and really yearning for) the same thing. Wordlessly, he helps her up and takes her hand, both of them turning a crimson color. She follows him all the way to Super Junior’s dorm and into the room he shared with Donghae, and they close the door and lock it.
That night was one Hyoyeon can still remember very well. The multiple times they moaned each others’ names and how she cried at the shock (and the pleasure) of it. It hurt at first, there had been nothing to prevent that- but Hyukjae’s sure and smooth hands guided her and soothed her- as did everything else he did.
They hardly saw each other after that (work had to come first after all)- but when they did, they gave each other small, secret smiles and winks, little things they felt carefully shielded their relationship from the hawk eyes of the netizens…but was still a sufficient amount of secret intimacy passed to each other.
Oftentimes though, Hyoyeon wonders if Hyukjae truly likes her- or if he’s only interested in having sex with her. She was, after all, the least popular one of SNSD- the one with the least camera time, be it music video or TV show, the one with the least fans compared to everyone else. She can’t help but wonder why he chose her, of all people. She can’t help but feel so paranoid and wonder if there was a secret motive for him…
“Hey.” Hyoyeon snapped right out of her deep, thoughtful trance to find Hyukjae giving her a look of amusement and wonder. “How far back into the past did you go?” he teased her, nibbling a bit on her ear. She giggled and said, “Pretty far…”
As they started to settle in with each other, absorbing the feeling of their skin brushing the other’s, he came down to feed on her neck. “I missed you…” Hyoyeon snapped back to attention. Did he just murmur that? Was it just her imagination? But she swore she heard him say it, barely above a whisper. Never before could she recall him saying that. Was it a joke? “Did you really?”
She found him staring at her again, this time in confusion and in shock realized that she had voiced part of her thoughts out loud. Suddenly, she found her dark, insecure, inner feelings starting to bubble and burst to the surface. “Did you really miss me? Do you really think of me that way? Or is this all just a way for you to get laid- like most boys want to. How could you…how can you…how can you miss someone…like…like…me?” Her breaths started to become rapid and stuttered and she was starting to hiccup. She looked at Hyukjae, whose eyes; his gentle sweet eyes were a mix of worry and confusion.
And then she started to cry. Her breath came in quiet, shuddering sobs as all her insecurity, all the dark ugly feelings she had held inside her came crashing down on her. So unstable she was feeling, that when Hyukjae suddenly caught her lips with his own, she nearly screeched, “Don’t! Don’t…don’t kiss me like that!” Can’t you see I’m in love with you?! Do you even care?!
Just then, she felt his arms wrap around her and pull her into his chest. “Hyoyeon, you dummy,” she heard his muffled voice say. “Of course I missed you. I miss you all the time. I miss you while I’m practicing and wonder how you’re doing. I miss you when my schedule makes me stay in the training building until early morning and I can’t come and visit you. And I’ll miss you while we go on tour for Super Show 3 and you’ll be in Japan for promotions.”
Hyoyeon looked up at him, still somewhat unbelieving and said, her voice almost childish, “Really?” “Really,” he said back to her, grinning. She buried her face in his chest and he tightened his hold on her.
A few moments of silence passed between them as they stayed that way, with her in his arms. “Kiss me, Hyukjae,” she finally spoke up, breaking the silence. “Kiss me like I told you not to.” He turned to face her, his grinning face only inches away from hers. “I’m obliged, Hyo-Hyo,” he teased again. “Get to it, Dumb-Butt Monkey,” she shot back playfully. And from there, they continued where they had left off.
