I've been reading the Twilight books for the bast couple of weeks. I've never been so into a set of books. Not even as much as Harry Potter. I can so see myself as Bella. Well after doing some soul searching and praying about it, I believe Mom is better off in an assisted living facility. At least for now. I made Mom a deal. She goes to the facility we picked out for a year and if she gets better physically and mentally, we can look again at independent living facilities ( Read more... )

Well its done. The house is finally sold. Thank Heaven. No more going down to clean it out or remove items from it. It was a very sad process. Every time I would go down there I would be reminded of so many memories. Some good. Some bad. It seemed so sad to leave them behind. Mom and I have had many problems with her assisted living center, the Mansions at the Waterford. I was just talking to a friend of mine from Austin and she is 5 months pregnant. Congratulations to Tejashri and Jeff.

As I've posted in the past week, my Mom is currently at a drug rehab hospital. They call it a Senior Health Diagnostic Center. Well the main reason she was sent there was because the people at the home felt she was addicted to her pain killers.
