So.

Do any of you actually think the Ministry is successful in investigations, or does everything get overlooked or gets a half-assed treatment? How many people do we actually KNOW practice dark arts? Or is that not considered?

Serious questions here. And my aunt is going to kill me.

die in a fire, obvious lady is obvious, baaaaw, must investigate further, another angry post :)!, patricide, ih8u, ball of sunshine and kittens

I'm sure the Ministry must be sucessful in most of their investigatons on certain matters. They wouldn't be in power if they only half-assed things, right?

As for the dark arts... Do you think they... Have a list on those people? Maybe a list of who dark wizards are connected to?

Funny, that. I was just in a conversation with someone who felt sort of the same way. I guess not everyone feels the same, and that's fine.

I highly doubt it.

Hm...

They should compile a list. You know.. Just in case. If they had a lead, or something...

I can say, from experience, it's the latter.

...I've been involved with them in an investigative capacity before. This incompetence is par for the course.

It didn't come out the right way. I mean in the sense, how do we know that the profile of those who commit murder for the sake of it are completely accurate? The general consensus.

Yeah? I respect the answer, but I kind of don't always trust the Ministry with those kind of matters - at least not anymore.

Well, that's just lovely. But it's not right to lead people around when they're true victims of a crime. There's ways to handle it without creating panic.

Whose to say some aren't in there for power trips?

Isn't this all just a leeetle too heavy for so early in the morning?

Probably. Maybe my mind gets too foggy when it's late.

I think there's a lot they'd rather have swept under the rug.
