So I looked at my calendar the other day and realized I have looming deadlines for some writing pieces, and somehow July is almost upon us and oh yeah, I have no drive to do anything

Aside from the fact that I'm moving in July and also attending a convention so therefore can't be expected to write ANY words those days... this is incredibly enticing.

Buuuut... It's on AIM? I'd have to make a new AIM account (because I don't remember my old one). And probably like... get AIM to even be on this computer. 'Cause wow, I haven't used that shit in so long.

There's a couple people who are moving too, and I have some stuff going on (HIGHLAND GAMES), so I get the in and out thing. It happens.

As for AIM, yeah, it's a new direction we're trying. I don't have it either and sometimes my IM service crashes out from the crazy. We'll have fun regardless. If you feel up to it, find us, bb. Or we'll just do it over LJ, yes?

I am considering it seriously. I've got a lot of writing I want to get done and I don't see why I couldn't write that many words in a day. The reason I don't is because no one is yelling at me to.

I wouldn't start until the fifth if I join, so if I decide to take up the challenge all probably bother you around then to be like, "hooooowwww? Wheeerrrrre?" Or possibly sometime this week before I leave my house for four days.

I love this, but July is going to be a super busy month for me academically. Is there any chance I can play, but with a low word count? In an effort to actually give myself a fighting chance?

Heck yes! We're a little less intense about rules, but so about participation. And hey, you might get writing and realize you got more accomplished than you though you might.

Definitely! I did mini_nano last year as wrote about three times the minimum monthly word count, but there were days when I was so busy that just getting one hundred words out was literally scribbling in my agenda while in transit.

Anyway, YAY! I'm delighted. I'll add you tomorrow morning, but in the meantime, I'm "akeyoftime" on AIM.
