I used to love berry-picking! Om nom nom! Strawberries in June, blueberries and raspberries in July, and blackberries in August. :)

And peaches! I haven't picked peaches in years, but we did so at a local orchard once when I was in high school, I think. I remember slicing up all those peaches and freezing them with my mother, and we had peaches all winter long to cook with. (And of course, we ate a good amount of the fresh ones as well.) I look forward to fresh peach season. The peaches we get here right now come from California, or the southern states, and they are terrible. (I'm sure they're not terrible locally, but they must pick them before they're ripe in order to ship them.) We had some Ontario peaches (thanks to your high praise of them) when we went to Niagara Falls in 2009. We saw a fruit stand and I made Wes stop so I could get Ontario peaches - "Ysa says they're to die for!" - and they were, indeed, delicious.

We also pick apples every year. :)

I'm hoping to go blueberry picking whenever they come in, as well as peach picking! (I'm less likely to campaign to go for blackberries, but will certainly go if other people want to. ^_^ I quite like blackberries, but am less likely to go out of my way for them.)

And now I'm all delighted about you eating Ontario peaches. ^_^ Yay!
