I would give up on the site. It's clearly not "nutritious" food for thought. Sort of junk food, or worse. Too bad about the folks you met. Maybe a problem with the context of encounter.

It surprised me the first time, I guess because I'm not used to being confronted with this level of ignorance. Sure, I know it's out there and I expect to see this sort of thing in video footage from a tea party rally or something of that nature, but not directed at me. I'm not so much offended by it as I am flabbergasted.
