Hopefully, on Tuesday, Californians will be voting down a proposition that will take away the right to gay marriage that was legalized by the California Supreme Court not that long ago. I just posted links to some videos here.

i'm not the best writer, hence why i can never finish nanowrimo~ but i just HAD to participate in this!! ^^

Carson wondered from time to time if the fact that he was a clone ever bothered Rodney, but from the memories Michale had given him their relationship didn't feel any different.

Well that wasn't entirely true, it felt different now that they were married.

Carson thought he would have to do some serious arm twisting to get Rodney to even consider it, but he was pleasantly surprised when the self proclaimed genius jumped at the idea of marriage.

That was the best part of being in the Pegasus galaxy, no one cared who you married, all that mattered was love.

Thanks for drabbling, and good luck with your nanowrimo. It's a good point about clone!carson and where his relationship with Rodney might or might not change. They should have dealt with that more this season.

I'm happy both that I got another drabble for donate and that you were inspired to write! I haven't seen much Torchwood, but I loved the last line about the day ticking perfectly into the next. Proof right there that you can write.

John stood to one side, Teyla and Ronon beside him. Rodney stood to the other, flanked by Radek and Jeanie. Soft ocean breezes caressed them as the Marriage Commissioner droned on, reading off the words John and Rodney had written.

Several years had passed since California had legalized gay marriage. Several years that saw State after State follow suit until it became law throughout the land.

There'd never been a doubt in John's mind what he'd do as soon as it was legal. He kissed his new husband, and then pulled back, grinning in delight. Rodney was his at last.

So, it took him awhile to figure out that Rodney wasn't just proposing today's fun Pegasus activities, he was Proposing.

"Rodney," he said grasping his friends waving hands and miraculously drying up the nervous babble. "Yes, I'll marry you."
