Well woohoo. The US is supporting the ethnic Albanians in Kosovo in their bid for independence. Somebody smart who's name I can't remember said we shouldn't do anything to fix the environment that doesn't make economic sense. The logic behind that is if we do something economically unsound it's doomed either to fail or to ruin somebody else's day. I caught a bit of The Praire Home Companion Saturday evening. Garrison Keillor described Memorial Day as a holiday that keeps going of it's own accord. No one pushes it.
