So... all through Crimbo weekend, CCNY deployed techs to switch out ALL of the phones on campus to spiffy new ones complete with Caller ID and button that sends calls straight to The Netherrealm voicemail. Even better... a button that dials straight into voicemail XD

Sounds like how I feel about cell ringtones. I gave up on song ringtones a couple of years ago because they didn't sound professional. Now I use a default electronic trill because it sounds professional and distinctive (everyone else uses a song or their cell provider's jingle).

Of course, when I switched to the iPhone, I found the closest it had was a classic phone ring, which is also the device's default.. I eventually found an electronic trill in the form of the CTU ringtone from 24, so all is good again.
