How is that con size wise? Did you set up in the Artist area? Looking at future cons for next year.
Be wary of this years con crud. We all thought we escaped Dragon Con & AWA without it, didn't see it at the con but it hit about a week after full blown for everyone we know.
There were maybe 200 of us there. There was no real area for multiple artists, because Dave Nakayama was the only one who was there to do any sort of work. Being able to get advice from him though... that was awesome.
As for Con-crud, well, I must say that it was a change of pace seeing all the con attendees leaving their rooms in the morning still drying their hair. Even so, everyone's been waiting to see if symptoms present themselves and the game devs who were present are [most likely] hoping and praying that no one will fall ill.
If you are looking for other cons at which to display/sell your work, HeroCon might not be what you're wanting. There is a ComicCon in the Phoenix area toward the end of May, and there are some smaller cons that happen in the months previous, but I don't know much about them yet.
