Giles took a breath and let out a sigh as inaudibly as he could, able to read the look in Jenny's eyes crystal-clear. Since Willow had been breaking out on her own more and more, less dependent on Jenny's approval or guidance, she had been stepping in and taking charge more often

The vampires were in fine form, it seemed. She and Xander had already taken on one themselves, and now another was after them. This one was fast, and chased them across the cemetery. Anya's shrieking wasn't exactly helping matters, either.
Not to mention, Willow was already occupied helping Rupert, Spike and Tara. "Sounds like the other units are engaged," Xander panted as they ran.
"Guys, stop!" Willow's voice reached them again, and they all skidded to a halt.
"Great googly-moogly, Willow, would you quit doing that?" Xander exclaimed, directing the question toward the grass.
"I told you I was going to get the lay of the land."
"But not the lay of my brain."
Jenny had to admit to herself that she was pleased Xander, too, seemed to side with her about Willow's new skill.
"It's kind of intrusive," Anya added. "You could knock first or something."
"Xander--"
"I know, I know, I don't have to talk when I answer you. But I saw 'The Fury,' and that way lies spooky carnival death."
"Xander! Vampire! Other side of that tomb."Jenny
