Most of the time, I don't walk around listening to my iPod. I like hearing things like that, and I don't feel so disconnected from the world around me. Right now, I hear bits of conversation, an angry sigh at a computer screen and bustling. I like it.

hmm, that -is- true ... after being completely immersed in music for a couple hours, the world does usually take on an immersive 3D-game aspect and you feel like a character ... who will have to steal things ... or kill the winged raptors ... I just want music so so so much when I'm sitting in front of a computer or washing the dishes ...
