i really adore how you described the spring rain. it was like that here as well, not only was it raining but it was hailing as well. and i'm sure you described exactly what the earth felt like.
now i am curious on where ever the 'pink potato sallad' comes from?

Ehm I was eating dinner at the time.. and the dinner included pink potato sallad.. it was just.. weird, so I felt like writing it down so I wouldn't forget about it ^^;

it is a wonderful phrase though. pink potato sallad. particlarly if you say it several times. (it doesn't sound as rhythmic in norwegian.)

haha i used to act sick to stay home from school, too! omg...one time when i was really young...my sister was going through 'that time of the month' and she told my mother that she had cramps really bad and my mom let her stay home! so the next morning i woke up and went to my mom holding my stomach and was like "mom...i can't go to school...i have so many cramps!" and her and my sister just busted out laughign...i was so emberassed! :-P

i hope you feel better, and get some more of those spring showers. we could use some over here, its always cloudy but never rainy, which really doesnt make all that much sense. we really need alot of rain this year or else we will have another forest-firey summer like last year. about 200 something peoples homes burned down. they couldnt put it out for so long.
