I figured this out this afternoon and thought I might as well share, because life is just more fun when you have Sherlock's Adventure Time theme stuck in your head.
I am hugely pleased that you enjoyed the book so much, but would you mind sending me an email (address is hiding from spammers in the userinfo) so I can reply at length that way? For starters here's the book on Project Gutenberg complete with indexed illos by Bill and maps aplenty.
Sherlock is a new series from BBC TV - at the moment you can only watch it via illicit channels (though if you're in Canada I believe their legal status is somewhat less odious) but it's coming out on DVD at the end of the month, so with proper region-busting capabilities, good times can be yours!
Disney, Harry Potter, Lemony Snicket, Doctor Who, Doctor Horrible, Scott Pilgrim, and now Sherlock (which I was waiting on the edge of my seat for you to have one day drawn something from.) Will you be my best friend?
You mean the person who called you cute and had an uber happy smiley face? You two seem on good terms. We could just sit and draw/animate for hours on end.
'Sides, you're loads better than some of my friends who don't like most things on that list, nor have any interest in attempting to watch/read any they are unfamiliar with...nor do they draw. I wouldn't mind any of it if we had interesting chats.
We don't even communicate and you're still interesting to comment with. =)
Haha, the drama stays off the public pages. ;) We're good, mostly, I just possess roughly Sherlock-level social skills and some people deserve more than that.
Your icon reminds me I need to watch Finding Neverland. DID YOU KNOW James Barrie was good friends with Capt. Scott, and one of Scott's last letters was to him? TRUFAX.
I leave it up to you to decide if this is what got me finally interested in seeing the film.

I am most delighted! That little tune was something I consistently liked about the series; now I can bother people by whistling it all day. Thank you.
