Burnout gets c/old

As part of my hermitting and getting myself sorted out to do school work, I have been going through all my stacks of papers (five boxes) and filing them. Sure, I planned to take two days to do it; it's now a full two weeks. A lot of people, especially related to my school program who know I'm on a "reflection year", ask how the (now past) year is going for me.

Tell them.

No, serious.

Talk about how fucking hard it is to reflect. Tell them about the pain, about how this is burnout is getting to you.

Tell them, and then let God open you.

Heya. It's weird to have put this out there with friends then having to respond or not; sorry to put you in that situation, and thanks for your thoughts. I was going to just make a personal log, and then I thought, well what the hell are these logs for if not for knowing how each other is doing? is what I say.

And.. nice shoes. I can't stand anything between my toes. It must be your fault!

Oh, you shouldn’t apologise for what you write in your own journal! It can be hard to know what to say, but I love to read what friends are feeling, good or bad.
