Yeah, Goldenrod is a pretty big. I think it's actually the biggest in Johto.

Really? [He grins at that.] I'm used to living in a city, so this is kind of nice.

You'll warm up right up here then. There's a lot of places to see in this place and most people stay here for a while.

They do? I mean, I don't like going out much in winter anyway, so it's kind of tempting. It all depends on whether the people I know can come here in time for Christmas though, I think.

It can be sort of overwhelming when you first get here, but you get used to it.

Well, it's more exciting I think? I mean, New York was far bigger than this and I live there pretty much half the time anyway.

I mean, there's a few places I need or said I'd go like... I definitely need a Pokémon Centre soon, but uh, there's a few people I said I'd see. Like at the Breeding Centre? [He glances around.] I don't see it from here though so it might be further in.

[Good old Goldenrod. After the tiny middle-of-nowhere towns and dinky excuses for cities beforehand, Goldenrod was like a shining breath of fresh air for anyone used to more populated areas.]

Yeah, this place gets you used to the country and then BAM. Skyscrapers.

[Well, Violet City wasn't so bad, but Cherrygrove was far too small. It's more like home though, so he definitely feels much happier at Goldenrod.]

Pretty much! It's kinda nice here though. I'm not sure if I even wanna leave for a while.

Yeah, I stayed in Goldenrod for months before movin' on. It was definitely home for awhile.

Yeah! [America smiles at that.] I really wanted to get to somewhere I could stay for a while because of the temperature, so it was really helpful of them.
