this is what i hope too! ideally the viennese will like them enough, and they'll get enough good press, for the city to keep them. because seriously, how cute and inclusive are they?

Those pothole mosaics are terrific, though kind of low-set. I don't imagine they'll last very long. :(

OTOH, how is the city letting the potholes get that big? They could eat a tire!

i don't know how permanent they're supposed to be. still better than a giant pothole, tho. (i bet they got that big through a combination of harsh winters, low priority, and lack of road repair funds.)
