First, just to get it out of the way, fold your sheet of card stock (or card board, or whatever stiff stuff you're using here) in half.
Be generous with the caulk. You really want to make sure none of that "blue" is visible. Note: the blue here that IS visible is on the flat of the blade, not from the actual crater itself.
And make it tall while you're at it. Put Mr. T's mohawk to shame.
Gah, you really can't see it, but that wasn't exactly easy to photograph, either! :(
Then, using that inside angle of the piece of cardstock (or whatever it is you're using), scrape away the excess to make a point along the edge. It's probably not going to look perfect the first time you do it and that's okay. Caulk is pretty forgiving like that...unless you get it in your carpet!
Repeat on the other side. That part I haven't done yet. I'm going to wait until tomorrow night when this side is dry so I know I won't screw it up by accident. Because I'm clumsy like that. DX
