Things are great

I'm totally working really hard, but my spirits are very lifted. It has been getting sunnier and warmer and I have broken out of the winter blues. Today it's 16C (61F) already so I'm doing some work so I can go out and play. Already the sun begins to rise around 5.00 and sets at 20.00. OK eco-girl, I've got a question. I read an amusing story somewhere about hybrid cars that compared the energy that went into them over a lifetime (including manufacture) compared to that of a Hummer. It showed the Hummer used less petroleum. The main argument had to do with the route that the batteries of hybrids took and the petroleum consumed in that transit. Does that hold any water?

So how are you going to change the world? I'm dying to know. =)

Heh. Well, I haven't seen that particular article but I would want to see the study. The short answer is that it isn't impossible, but I would be suspect until I saw how they did the analysis. A few thoughts on that though because life cycle analysis is getting more headlines now, and justly if you want to really good energy balances ( ... )

Jeez, it's warmer in Sweden than it is here.

That bra bag is something else. Sadly, the video said they have no plans to market it. Of all the items that could double as a shopping bag, I think a bra would be pretty low on the list, but the model is cute so hey.

Yea, I'm not sure a bra bag is practical either. Though I guess the other shoppers might get a show as you tried to take out your bag to put your groceries in. I can see myself in the checkout line trying to take off my bra without exposing myself to everyone...
