I KNOW, SHE'LL BE COMING, I'M SORRY. D:
Maka is very happy to see Chrona making this effort and will whack anyone who tries to traumatize poor Chrona too badly.

Edgeworth misses his talks with David. :( Before their falling out he respected David's manner, and appreciated the way David seemed to understand his wangsty past better than Phoenix because David had been through something similar. Unfortunately that something similar was also what made Edgeworth cut ties (he can't forgive himself so how can he forgive David?), and the more time passes the more he struggles with his decision.

Can't wait for their coffee date. ♥

...Oh, and Edgey thinks they need more Wilson and Robert. There aren't enough sensible people on the comm to balance out the crazies.

David misses Edgeworth. :( Edgeworth was someone he could discuss serious practicalities with, and he appreciated Edgey's dry humor. At this point he's pretty resigned to having the ties cut, but he still thinks Edgeworth is someone deserving of respect. A part of him is also trying to remain on seemingly cordial terms with Edgeworth for Phoenix's sake.

Neither can I~! ♥

...Wilson and Robert agree with this assessment and look forward to speaking with Edgey in the future.

...Also, Lyra thinks Edgey needs to post to the comm more.

:(((((((((( Edgeworth is having a harder time holding on to that resignation. He still respects David a great deal, but that also makes him feel a bit guilty. :/

A resolution isn't a guarantee, sadly, but either way they'll have a REALLY interesting discussion. XD

Hee hee. Edgey's boring, he only posts to the comm when he has something of relevance to the majority of the comm. He thinks all those people who post random things are abusing it. XD

That's right Edgey, be unresigned!

Oh, I know. But it'll be so fascinating to play out~ >D

♥~

Well, Lyra thinks Edgey should just get out more. Enjoy people. :P

XD

I'm really hoping it'll end well, or at least plant some good seeds, but with Edgeworth you never know. :/

B-but...Edgey doesn't enjoy people. Not most people, at least. :(

Oh, Edgey. Why you gotta be such an angst-ridden drama queen? :P
Though I went back and read the huge srs confession thread, and it didn't end on such a bad note, really, so I guess there is hope! ...maybe.

Lyra says that means he needs to meet more of the right people!

He is, isn't he? And yeah, the problem with Bourne is he truly believes Bourne is repentant AND is trying to actively correct his mistakes in the best way possible, and taking responsibility for them. Basically, Bourne's doing everything right and his kills were government-directed. On top of that and Bourne's respectful attitude, Bourne was almost a different man when he did those things. Edgeworth's finding it hard to hold on to his condemnation, but he still does because he can't forgive himself so he punishes himself and other people. :P We'll have to see how things turn out, but either way it'll be interesting. ^_^;;;

Edgey would argue he's already saddled with too many of the right kind of people, he doesn't want any more. XD

And the problem with Edgeworth is that his views on the subject have a tendency to exacerbate all of Bourne's worst fears. But at the same time, he wants Edgey to get some measure of peace that will allow him to move on to better things.
So very interesting~ >D

Lyra says "Psh." :P

Indeed! He's pretty much the worst person for Bourne to be listening to on this subject. :/ Actually, the worst person for HIM to be listening to, as well. He's fucked himself up pretty good, don't want him to do it to Bourne too. D: But maybe if things turn out well, Bourne, Phoenix, and Cori can help him not be fucking stupid about the whole thing.

Bourne's so selfless, I lurve him. ♥

Interesting will, in fact, be an understatement!

Edgeworth just rolls his eyes at her. :/

Fortunately, Bourne also listens to Marie, Cori, and Phoenix.
Edgey should learn to do that.

...He's just kinda sitting there blinking at that. XD I mean, he really kinda is, but he's never thought of himself like that.

Oh yeees~

I'm afraid at this point Lyra feels compelled to roll her eyes and mutter something vulgar under her breath.

Phoenix is making some progress. It's just really slow going. ^_^;;

Totally not surprising. He's selfless and humble. ♥

And Edgey feels compelled to tell her vulgar language is both inappropriate for her age and a mental crutch. XD

Well, it's hard to be heard through Edgeworth's ego. :P

He wouldn't say humble. He knows his spy skills are kick-ass. I, however, point out that he tends not to, y'know, brag about them, which is kinda humble. XD
♥~

To which Lyra says first that he clearly hasn't heard some of the Gyptian children half her age, and second that if it's a mental crutch why is Shakespeare so full of excellent examples? ( A Lyra on her way to being well educated. And you thought she was already dangerous enough...)

Truer words, my friend. Truer words.

XD Oh Bourne, we love you.

Oooh, Lyra gives him pause! The Shakespeare thing an excellent rejoinder, but Edgeworth dismisses it by saying Shakespeare wrote vulgarity because he wrote of life, and much of the public was (and still is) crass and uncouth. It shouldn't be assumed to be advocating the practice.

David -
Phoenix hasn't actually gotten to talk to him a lot lately. ;-; His feelings are mostly unchanged from the last relationship meme. He believes David truly is a good man and admires him for the lengths he's willing to go to in order to right his wrongs. Their thoughts on truth and justice mesh pretty well together and they should talk about those subjects more often!

He also wishes Edgeworth could look past his own issues and see what a great man David really is. ;-;

Lyra -
Phoenix still thinks she's odd. I believe the first conversation they ever had was about society needing lies to function, so Phoenix is under the impression that she's a very jaded young lady. He'd like to talk to her more to see what makes her tick!

Robert -
Two words: SANITY BUDDY. They need to talk more. ;-;
