Ok, so I had a possible idea for an event

Event implies that it's open for everyone in the community - is that correct or is this just for those involved in the movie?

Technically the movie was open for anyone who was interested.

Usually if it's about 5 or more people it goes in the event comm. And there's a lot of people getting involved in the movie.

I'm aware how many people it takes for it to have an event on the event post, but I think this qualifies as a closed-event? Not that you can't still advertise, I would just definitely be sure it can even happen before you build up excitement for it, you know? Vayne may no - and it looks like Tifa got to my concerns before me. XD Nevermind! haha.

I don't think anyone has been excluded if they really want to join, just some characters would be more interested than others?

I don't mind if people have other suggestions. I didn't expect the idea to be flawless from the get-go.

Mmm, while FF9 airships are most definitely shiplike, the ones in FFXII are all huge and resemble the Starship Enterprise on the inside. No ship-like qualities. But, also, have you checked with the timeline? I thought they were well into Archades' offensive already, so Vayne probably couldn't spare one :O

Oh, and it wouldn't work for no one to know how to fly because they're flown by moogles in the first place and take more than one of them? I feel terrible for finding problems with this XD because I'm excited for Roxas to get shanghai'd but. I'd like to help with a more logical approach to it?

That's fine if anyone else has any other suggestions. Maraich is going to be looking for a ship.

I'll try and think up a place for Maraich to get a ship~ Does it have to be an airship or is a boat okay?

Boat is fine. They're basically looking for a set.

Yeah, what Tifa said. I'm sure Vayne would give Maraich a ship - and the moogles to fly it. He wouldn't just give it to him without any pilot, because canonly the ships are hard to fly and NEED training, and moogle engineers to keep them in the sky.

And they don't really look like pirate ships. They look very techy.

But if Maraich wants one and he's got one to spare (which he likely doesn't, with the war on, so it'd be one of his private ships or something) he wouldn't say no.

It doesn't have to happen on Vayne's world. If nowhere else it can happen on Maraich's world, but the idea basically stays the same.

That's fine. I wasn't sure if they had any normal looking airships to begin with, which is the type of thing Maraich will be looking for.

The main thing is for them to set sail and to only realize afterwards that no one knows how to drive.
