[Beach Party - Side Beaches]

The main beach extends pretty far in both directions, and the further you go the more of a change there is. To the west the coast turns rocky, with nooks and wind-carved cliffs. A good place for exploring, or catching crabs.

To the east, the beach curves away in a private cove of even finer sand and calm water. Unlike the main beach, neither end ( Read more... )

Shadow had meant to head in the direction of the BBQ pits but had somehow ended up going towards the east, eventually ending up at the private cove. He actually looked around a bit, checking to see if there was anyone around and... Once he thought he was for certain alone...

He dropped into the sand to kind of lay there.

It didn't take long, after recieving some motivation from Vivi, for Rouge to hunt Shadow down. Especially once he'd stopped moving and flopped into the sand of the side beach. She watched him lay there for a moment, grasping for words to properly express her disappointment, before storming down the slope of sand and kicking some in his face.

"So, you've been hiding down here?" She scowled.

Sand + Face = Shadow aughing, sitting up quickly while rubbing at his face to get rid of the sand. He does not look to good, what with sand sticking to him from his encounter with Haruhi after he dunked Sonic. And he still hasn't got his shoes back.

"No," He answered, sounding just a bit confused.

"You think it's funny to ditch me, saying you're going to chase Sonic down, and then... let a kid catch you screwing around?" Rouge scowled, putting her hands on her hips in an attempt to keep herself from socking him in the face.

It was late afternoon by the time they managed to 'kidnap' Garnet and sneak her away from the castle for the evening. The main beach was crowded with people, and after spending a little time in which Zidane and Vivi went for some food and drinks while the Queen changed into more 'appropriate' garb (Zidane had been rather crushed that she'd grabbed her own swim-wear instead of opting for the string bikini he'd 'helpfully' brought with them), the trio made their way towards the more calm and quiet cove.

Standing in the surf, the blond dug his toes into the wet sand and bent down, eyes searching the mostly-clear water for seashells.

Feeling quite giddy at being "kidnapped", Garnet strode towards the shoreline with a smile on her face. When she reached the water, she stood some ways away from Zidane, watching him as he looked into the sand at his feet; he seemed to be looking for something, though the Queen found herself in a rather playful mood and had other things in mind.

Bending down slowly, she turned towards Zidane and placed both hands in the water. I can't believe I'm doing this, she thought with an inward giggle at how this was such "unroyal" behaviour...but she still loved it.

Garnet raised her arms and sent a small but still quite wet splash at Zidane.

Distracted as he was, Zidane's only warning was the sound of the water being disturbed before the splash hit him on the back.

"Hey!" He instantly straightened and whipped around. . or tried to as the water wouldn't let him move as easily, and he had to pinwheel his arms a bit to keep his balance. Seeing her royal highness standing there, Zidane smirked and sent a small splash back at her.

Garnet turned her face and away from the splash, letting out a girly squeal as the cold water hit her. Giggling followed and she gave Zidane a playful smile. She took a step closer and splashed him again, though only with one hand this time.

"Looking for something?" she asked in a spirited tone.
