"Oh, Sakomi..." Bishop breathed as he entered the small room where Sakomi sat, preparing herself for her wedding to Fujimori Satoru, a Wolfen Crown Prince and herself, the Fangire Queen. "You look so beautiful... Satoru will fall in love with you all over again."
Sakomi smiled softly at her father admired her. "Daddy, you're much too kind."
"Look at you..." Bishop came to sit by her at her vanity. "It seems like only yesterday that I was braiding your hair and tying your hair ribbons and getting your school uniform ready. Oh, Sakomi..."
"Daddy..." Sakomi smoothed out her silk gown and gently touched her hair, fingering the roses in her hair and sighed softly. "I can't... believe this day has come." She began to wring her hands. "I don't think I can do this."
"Of course you can." Bishop assured her. He came to sit beside her at the vanity. "Darling, this is the man you love, yes? You love him with all of your heart, don't you?"
"Of course I do, Dad, it's just..." Sakomi sighed. "I'm worried some thing's going to go wrong. Whenever something really good comes along in my life, it's almost always followed by something bad."
"Nothing is going to go wrong." Bishop assured her. "You're going to be a beautiful bride... although, I admit... as your father, it's hard admitting to myself that you're not a little girl anymore." He smiled softly. "Although, to me, darling, no matter how old you get... you will always be my little girl."
The words almost made the Fangire Queen cry and her eyes glistened.
"Don't cry, Sakomi." Bishop told her, trying not to cry himself. "You're going to ruin your makeup."
At that, Sakomi had to smile and she gave her father a warm hug. "Daddy, I've been meaning to ask... would you... would it be too much to ask if you would please walk me down theaisle? You know... give me away?"
Bishop kissed his daughter's forehead and managed to help her with her veil, pulling it down over her face and smiling with the sort of pride only a father could have.
"It would be my honor."
