First New York, then Philadelphia

Instead of tackling the weekend as a whole, which is too overwhelming, I will begin with New York.

Our friend, Kelley, was in Manhattan on a theatre-viewing trip last weekend, so I was impulsive and jumped on a Manhattan-bound Megabus (far more comfortable and safe than the deadly Chinatown Bus I used to take) for the opportunity to catch some ( Read more... )

wondering when I'd have time to bake madeleines

This gave me an out of the blue smile :)

I've been to that bakery ~ but am now wishing I could go back there today.... Did you ever see the photo I snuck of Carolee in the Poet's Corner?

I don't remember the photo of Carolee; do you have a link to it? It's always been one of my favorite places in NY!
