There was a certain sense of nostalgia as he made his way up the stairs, his feet knowing the way without him needing to direct them. He'd laughed when he'd read where she'd be staying and he couldn't resist the visit. Not that he'd told Aly he would be coming, that would ruin half of the fun of it.
It was a shame he didn't have his old key anymore, but then it was a bad idea to break in when a spy girl with too many knives was waiting on the other end of the door. So he knocked, like any normal person does.
