Prepare yourselves, I'm afraid I've wittered on quite a bit (as usual - but there was a lot to say!)... Oh yeah, and my apologies if there are any misplaced E's - my keyboard is what can only be described as a Massive Gheyist.

Haha wasn't it just? You're getting as bad as me :P Yeah, poor Guy indeed, he really did seem to care about Meg, especially considering he only just met her. That's a very good point about Much not being able to lie to robin or kate, that's not something i thought of, or that he might not want to stand in the way of Robin's happiness. This honesty and love will be the end of him! Poor baby :( And oooooh, VERY interesting point about him maybe betraying Robin in the end. I wouldn't put it past the writers, but in terms of Much's character, unless he takes a serious blow to the head I really just don't think he has it in him, no matter what. We'll have to see though, I suppose... :s God I hope there's little Much. He'd be so very very cute. Wondering about the possibility of a little Will too, because he obviously grew up in Locksley, but I dunno when they're setting it and how old he'd be and stuff. But there'd better be a little Much! And awww, thank you! ^-^
You hit every point I can think of - the likes, the dislikes, and Much's heartbreak. It was so hard to watch his pain... I was on the verge of tears several times!
And Allan's 'Norwich' line was classic! Loved that scene.
Glad I hit all the points, it took me long enough to write everything up! And I know, poor Much really had such a time of it this episode, even worse than usual :( *hands tissues* Thank you!
Direct and to the point, I like it. Interesting choice of the word 'cardboard' - maybe if we soaked her in water she'd go all soggy and useless? Or maybe she'd just dissolve like the wicket witch of the west...
We could always try. Poor Much :( Robin should treat him better. I don't know if it's the writing but all the female characters other than Isabella (who is fab) have really been dire this season. Especially Kate.
We did have a reference to times gone by with ‘I only kill when there’s no other way’; either Robin believes his options are very much narrower than they used to be, or that’s just a flat-out lie now.
Yes, I was thinking it's an obvious lie too!
Back to Kate - she really doesn’t care about Much at all does she? Fancy saying that to him about Robin when he’d already told her, very plainly (as if it wasn’t obvious) how he felt! Women!
Yes, and Robin even gave them a chance to get together by leaving them alone together. Hmf.
and the West Country (oh arr!) accent
It was sweet, wasn't it? :) The last time I heard Joe Armstrong do that accent, he was in Foyle's War :)
Why don’t the guards of Nottingham just look out for people in hoods - no-one else but the gang really seems to wear them!
*lol* Good point!
When they were fighting guards in the forest, Allan got one to the ground with a slash to his belly by his sword, but I’m sure the guard was wearing chain mail - it might still mean that actually being jabbed by something would
( ... )
I know, I thought it was good of Robin to leave them alone, though I'm not sure if it was more luck than judgement! Not seen Foyle's War. Though when he was doing that accent I almost believed he could be just down the street from me... if only :P woah, check you out with your weapons and armour knowledge! Thanks, I'll bear it in mind if I'm ever attacked by a medieval knight (hey, I know it sounds unlikely, but I don't expect Neil from the Young Ones was expecting to be taken away on a horse and sold as a maiden either!) Yeah, I've noticed cloth disguised as chainmail on the show before - real thing too heavy for poncy (a general term, please don't kill me for insulting mr armitage) actors, y'reckon? :P
*lol* You never know when you'll meet a medieval knight, it could happen any time! Think of that episode of Primeval, if you watch it :)
I think you're probably right about poncy actors ;) A suit of chainmail is incredibly heavy - if I put one on, I think I'd just collapse in a heap on the floor. And I suppose, to be fair, it's been incredibly hot in Hungary while they've been filming. But still, I'd like to fantasise about RA in proper chainmail!
Incidentally, I've seen some of the armour the soldiers used in the film Gladiator and it's all made out of rubbery foam stuff :)
Ooh I love a bit of Primeval! (Andrew Lee-Potts = NOM) Yeah I bet it's heavy, never mind acting in it, it'd be a nightmare to fight in! I'd be fashioning myself a white flag before the battle had even begun :P

UGH. Kate.
She's awful. Manipulative little cardboard cow *seethes*
