ROFLMAO! Watching those "talent" shows, were we? I guess it's better to expand the gang this way than to just take whoever wanders into the forest with no where else to go...

Actually no. I stopped after the first Pop Idol. The whole idea of them makes my skin crawl. I just wondered what it would have been like if they'd staged one back in Allan's time ... and the idea of him as the one with a belt up by his armpits made me laugh.

I have to admit that I watch these shows (well, half-watch while I'm tinkering online) just for the crack. Yours was no exception.

Allan would be the "no" judge, wouldn't he? Because, of course, he hadn't been given some sissy audition. No! He practically had to get himself hanged to get in the gang, didn't he?!

I wonder if Allan resents not being asked to audition for his own part, because omg, what an audition that would have been!
