It's a good day.

He ate so quickly this morning he barely tasted the slop, no one's punched or otherwise attempted to bruise him, Stacy hasn't been unnecessarily creepy, he hasn't seen Sam looking like she's about to cry, Jono is here and his Emo Buddy always makes Angelo feel better...

Okay, it's not a great day, but he's back in the media room ( Read more... )

Don't worry. Jono is here to make you feel completely lousy by looking entirely too broody for words.

Oh, wait. That's normality.

I think I want to go home and let Onslaught tapdance on m' skull. he says as he realizes that Angelo is in here. Or maybe before he even enters the room -- because his voice long proceeds him. Then the telepath is inside, flopping on the couch and rubbing his temples.

Telepathy around here? Sucks.

Boo hoo. It probably doesn't help that Angelo has the sound turned up pretty loud as the cars screeeeech around corners.

But he glances over as Jono flops, a brow cocked. "Could be worse. At least we're not clinging to the bottom of a mack truck this time, si?

"You ask Stacy about that? Or is this one o'those 'suck it up and deal' situations she likes t'give us?"

Talking to Stacy is painful! Jono points out helpfully; but he doesn't seem to be bothered by physical volume. Not only is she utterly daft, she seems to be a collection of telepathic processes. I think the reason telepathy 'urts 'ere is 'cause it's sort of like carrying on a conversation in the middle of a Gwar concert. Sure, you can, but you know you're 'earing every other word to Babyraper and that just puts off decent conversation.

How they get along, Angelo will never truly be able to explain, as Jono's Brit-ness often makes the boy from the barrio blink at him as if he's just spoken in tongues.

Like he's doing now.

"Volume down," he says, and only to hear himself better - the cars screech but not as loudly as they were. "So what d'you do about it? You're talkin' to me just fine, but you looked like hell comin' outta the pods. Gettin' used to it?"

"You would," Angelo retorts, not bothering to sit up or look over when she's started talking.

"RX's in the lead, Ferrari's third, and there's a Honda second that I'm pretty sure is runnin' on nitro."

"This race or on the screen?" Angelo glances to her, one brow raised. "Far as I can tell, Stace'll play anything she's asked to.

"...You ride?"
